Vocal Recordings Info and Times

[Vocal Classes - any class with singing] Concert recording schedule will be attached in Term 3. Please let us know if you can not make it just so teacher knows for planning especially for older classes where solo/duo parts may need to be redistributed due to not being at recording. Its lots of fun and a great experience for the young performers to record their concert song!

Stage And Dress Rehearsal Call Times
|
We have tried to run this a little differently this year and hope this will allow a smooth rehearsal. We try to tweak this every year and this year we will be doing a full check in and out process. Please be patient as you never know what teething problems will come about when starting a new system. Remember all parents helping backstage are volunteers who are here to help make the concert as smooth, safe and enjoyable as possible for all of our families :)

When Are Tickets On Sale? Which Show Am I In?

All Junior To Senior students are in both the 2pm and 6pm shows. Some MSJ Performance Company students will also perform in the TiniStars Show at 9am or 11am.

I would love to help out at the Rehearsals and/or Concert Day?
Backstage helpers are needed backstage to supervise the dancers and keep them safe and accounted for. Many Mums like to help at one show and watch the other show. They are responsible for making sure that each child is in the proper costume, has the proper accessories and shoes, is backstage at the appropriate time, and returns to the appointed dressing room after the performance. More information will be sent closer to the show regarding this.

We do appreciate every parents help at either the 2pm Matinee or the 6pm Evening Show.
All Backstage helpers will be required to attend the Dress Rehearsal day to ensure they know what their job is and how to best achieve it. If you are unable to attend this rehearsal, there are other ways you can help, such as sign in and out desk, program sales on concert day and helping in the shop on concert day and usher assistant.
It takes a huge team to create an amazing and smooth flowing concert for all to enjoy. We also love the community aspect of having parents involved in the process.
Please ensure you check the notice board closer to ticket sales for which show and position you are helping in. This means you can buy tickets to the other concert.

In Class Photos for Concert Program
Hi all, we will be taking class photos from Sat 14th Oct to Friday 21st Oct.. These photos will be included in the concert programs, as well as stage and dress rehearsal shots! Please wear MSJ uniform and have neat hair for your class photos :) Thanks guys!
